Great video. thanks for the insight. Question for you if the gas velocity on the suction side changes velocity (line in the use of an engine crankcase blowby gases increase with RPM), will that have an effect of separation? In other words does the cyclone separator have an effective range, and can it get overloaded?

I guess because of the lower boiling temperature once it hit the turbine it still makes the same amount of electricity? Or am I wrong and it makes less because its lower temperatures? Would love to understand this part a bit more. Cheers :)

About the installation. Not flow direction but orientation. is it important to install this filter in horizontal pipe as in this example or it will work the same in vertical pipe too?

Nikola Tesla’s”Our Future Motive Power” article from the 1930’s explains how to use the geothermal heat energy in the steam turbine even when it’s well below 100°c. It’s the same vacuum steam system as use with Ocean Thermal Energy Conversion (OTEC). Just gotta have a vacuum condenser on the exhaust and a very high mass flow rate high vacua pump which Tesla coincidentally also has a patent for that. Patent GB 179,043: High Vacua Pump

So when running an 85deg thermostat in conjunction with a thermo controlled electric radiator fan with a digital controller, should I set the fan to come on at 95deg and off at 85deg?? At the moment I run an 85deg thermostat with a mechanical viscous fan and the temperature runs at a great quarter on the temp gauge. The thermostat opens just above quarter and I want to replicate this when I fit the digital controller and electric fan. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi John thanks for explaining that I am no expert at all but I do understand if you have water on both sides of propeller ,even if one side is higher than the other there will still be resistance because you have water on both sides would it not be better that the generator moved up and down a shaft so that so there is air on one side?

  • @reftech1

The majority of heat is removed by the evaporation of water. That is why the drier the air the more moisture it can absorb and the more water can evaporate and the cooler the water will be. Wet bulb temperature dictates the lowest possible temperature the water can go.
